Newsreader & Public Sans

Newsreader is by the Newsreader Project Authors. Public Sans is by the Public Sans Project Authors. Both are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and are hosted with the website.

The Wicks wordmark is adapted from Newsreader with adjusted spacing and a custom square dot over the “i,” then exported as fixed vector outlines.

Project examples

The Reach for Youth website image is a screenshot of the website from the Wicks project, shown as a work example. It is not a live view. Reach for Youth’s identity and website content belong to their respective owners.

The Akron vendor map is a working document from Wicks’ June 2026 community project. It is shown as an example of the work; it is not a current event guide. Storefront labels in gray were still being checked.

Design assistance
