Reach for Youth

Ongoing relationship

Practical website work has grown into an ongoing conversation about how technology can help a youth-serving organization.

Where we started

Reach for Youth supports young people through counseling and restorative justice. Its previous website was unreliable and costly to maintain. A replacement was a concrete place to begin.

Our contribution

We helped build a replacement with simpler editing, translation, and visible crisis resources. Staff have a way to manage everyday updates. Alongside the website work, Victor has been helping leaders explore AI in their operations and learn from using it.

What we're learning

Victor has seen leaders try the tools and share what they learn with their team. Conversations about future programs remain exploratory.

Victor Wieczorek serves on Reach for Youth’s board. The website work was donated. These are his observations; time savings and organizational outcomes have not been independently measured.

Community event tool

A map the organizer can edit

Village of Akron, New York

A printable vendor map and an offline editor for a village sidewalk sale.

Where we started

The event’s vendor map had been a photocopy of a hand-drawn layout. Changes meant updating the drawing again.

Our contribution

We made a printable map and a small editor that opens in a browser, works offline, and lets the organizer change storefronts and vendor spots.

What we're learning

The next test is a real update: can the organizer make the change and print the map without help? Delivery is documented; independent reuse hasn’t been measured yet.

Donated community work. The event organizer is related to Wicks’ founder.
